Digging through bins, flipping through totes, or spotting a dusty shelf item at a flea market can lead to serious collectible gold — if you know what to look for. Here are the top signs that the figure you just found might be worth a lot more than the $5 price tag.
🟨 1. Old Packaging with Yellowing or Price Stickers
That $3 sticker from Kay-Bee Toys or faded Kmart tag? It’s probably vintage.
Tip: Yellowed blister bubbles and outdated logos are often signs of original ‘80s or ‘90s packaging.
🔍 2. Accessories Still Attached or Sealed
Loose figures are good — complete ones are great.
Tip: A vintage figure with its original weapon or card back can be worth double (or more).

Main characters were mass-produced. Side characters? Not so much.
