-What inspired you to start collecting? I've always had a fascination with outer space, and when I found out about Star Wars. Seeing that Star Destroyer go down the screen and watching Vader walk into that corridor. I was hooked ever since.

-How long have you been collecting? I've been collecting since 1978 non-stop. My first two figures were Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader, which I purchased at Woolworths with my mother, they were $3.49 a piece.

-What’s your favorite piece in your collection? My collection insists on a wide variety, which is why it's called Selections Unlimited. If I had to choose my favorite piece, it would have to be my first best set. It involves a complete set of figures with the droids, cartoon Ewoks cartoon and several variants. It consists of two C3PO cases and a Darth Vader case.

-Do you collect anything other than Star Wars? I collect He-Man part-time and Indiana Jones.

-What Star Wars character do you relate most with? Luke Skywalker will always be in my eyes the hero, but Vader is awesome. I've always been a big fan of Darth Vader. He is the best villain ever.

-What is it about the hobby that has kept you collecting for all of these years? My love for Star Wars has always been there. It's the storytelling. I love Star Wars as a whole, but my favorite is the original trilogy. I've also met so many great friends along the way!
